Organizer quiz
First time hosts complete the organizer quiz before Create eco action unlocks. Questions cover safety, moderation, and responsible use of the platform.
Quiz tips
- Read each question carefully. Sessions expire if you pause too long.
- Reload the quiz if you see a session error message.
- Certification stays on your profile after you pass.
Create eco action
From Events or Take action on a site, tap Create eco action. Fill required fields such as title, meeting pin, schedule, and capacity.
Before you publish
- Confirm land access with owners or municipalities when required.
- Set realistic difficulty and kit expectations.
- Link the event to a pollution site when the cleanup targets a report.
Moderation status
Events can be Under review, Approved, or Declined. Edit and resubmit when moderators ask for changes.
Dashboard labels
- Under review: volunteers cannot join yet.
- Approved: Join eco-action opens for everyone.
- Declined: read the banner and tap Edit and resubmit.
Day of check-in
Open the organiser dashboard and display the live QR for volunteers. Invalidate previous QR codes if a screenshot leaked.
On site leadership
- Brief everyone on hazards, buddy pairs, and first aid.
- Refresh QR before each wave if codes expire.
- Use event chat for short updates instead of long threads.
After the event
Close the loop with thank you notes, after photos, and honest feedback. Organizer approved events can earn profile points.
Wrap up
- Mark the event complete when the shift ends.
- Log municipal follow ups separately from volunteer chat.
- Archive chat decisions so future hosts learn from your runbook.
