Before you install
- Search the store for «Chisto.mk» and verify the publisher matches our official listing.
- Use Wi-Fi if your data plan is limited; the first launch may download map assets.
- Update iOS or Android when prompted so the camera, maps, and security patches stay current.
Create your account
Open the app and follow the sign-up flow. You will use a phone number you can verify with SMS (or a similar one-time code), an email address, your name, and a password that meets the app rules. This matches the pattern described in our Terms of use.
What to prepare
- A phone number you can access for the verification code.
- An email inbox you check regularly for account notices.
- A strong password that you do not reuse on other services.
Location gate and Home feed
Chisto.mk is available in Macedonia. During sign up the app checks that your device location is inside the country. After that you land on the Home feed with nearby pollution sites and feed filters.
First steps on Home feed
- Scroll the feed or tap feed filters such as All, Urgent, Nearby, and Top support.
- Tap a site card to open photos, history, and Take action options.
- Open the Map tab when you want pins and the heatmap view.
Notifications and privacy
You control whether the app may send push notifications in your device settings and in the app where offered. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed when you report issues or join events.

- iOS: Settings → Notifications → Chisto.mk.
- Android: Settings → Apps → Chisto.mk → Notifications.
- In-app toggles may exist for specific categories such as events or report status.
